Picture Fun With the Boys

Yesterday was a good day for me and the boys. They didn't fight too much and I had a little more energy than usual. I decided I needed to get a picture of the growing tummy so I got my camera out to take a pic or two. Well, once the boys saw what I was doing they wanted to have their pictures taken too. We had lots of fun taking pictures of them and their Hot Wheels and Luke even got to try his hand at taking pictures too. The Hot Wheels cars are the boys' latest obsession and my latest nightmare. We got a game for the computer that uses a controller that certain Hot Wheels cars attach to. They are called Turbo Drivers. The game came with one and we were lucky enough to find a couple at a local Target the next week. None of the other stores carried them anymore and I soon discovered that Target was clearancing theirs as well. 2 weeks ago the boys and I took a little excursion to all the Targets within a 20 mile radius of our house. 7 Targets later we had only found one we didn't have and I was tired of getting in and out of our van, so we came home without stopping at the last Target by the Twins speech therapy office. Matthew and I went their last week and found 1 more. I finally decided to spend the money and buy the other ones on Ebay. I had to pay a little but more but I thought if I didn't have to hear them complaining about not having them it would be a good investment for me. They of course are thrilled, but they DO fight over them. I just can't win with them. Anyway, here are a few pictures from yesterday. There were over 20 of just the cars but I thought I would spare you those. Enjoy!

I know I am overdue for my weekly post. Last week was a rough one for me and this week is just a little bit better. My emotions are like a roller coaster right now and my poor family has had to suffer my outbursts more than once these past few weeks. It's a really long story and one I don't feel like getting into on here. I just wanted to come on here and let you know I haven't forgotten about posting, I just don't care to right now.
Any prayers you can spare for my sanity right now would be greatly appreciated. I will be back posting when I can do so with a lighter heart about my boys.

Seth ____ Rosenbarker

Yes, it's another boy for the Rosenbarkers! While I am excited to be having another boy I am also a little sad that Eric will not be getting his Daddy's Girl. I think Seth will be a wonderful addition to our family and I hope, a wonderful younger brother to Luke and the twins. I will write more on that later. I have been gone for over 5 hours and right now I just want to sit and relax. As for the blank after Seth, well we are still debating middle names right now. All I ask from you now is to keep praying for a "healthy" boy and maybe a good natured on as well. Not sure if you can see it but in this picture he has both hand up to his face. He was so cute trying to decide which hand he wanted in his mouth.

Nothing Much

I know the weekly post is due but I really don't have much to talk about this week. Next week is the big week. Ultrasound is on Friday so I will probably wait to post after the ultrasound. As for the boys???? Well, let's just say they have been trying my patience this week. In fact, I don't think I have any left. Hopefully, once things settle down around here they will start acting better. Our house has been in chaos for the past 2 weeks because my husband has been installing new wood laminate floors in our main living areas. So furniture has been moved and removed and things aren't in their right place. This seems to bother Jonathan more than Matthew, but really all 3 have been out of sorts. Even I am ready to have my house back. Eric finished the floors tonight but we still have to get the base boards on and the transition pieces in. Next up, Luke's room and the new baby's room. Eric and I and the twins will be keeping the carpet for now. Luke says he doesn't want it in his room, so I think we will start in the nursery. We shall see when that when that actually happens. I promise next weeks post will be much more fun than this.

Last Day of School and Other Odds and Ends

Tomorrow is the Twins last day of 1st grade. They were in separate classes this past year but next year they will be in the same classroom for 2nd grade. Matthew will be staying with his teacher this year and Jonathan will be joining him there. For those of you who don't remember, Matthew was put in with the second graders this year to keep them in separate classes. He was still considered first grade though. The third grade class is in the lower level of the school and you HAVE to be in 3rd grade in order to have a class down there,so that is why they will be together. I am fine with it and will be curious to see how they do after 5 years of being apart at school. Matthew will be in the regular class for more than 50% of his day next year which is moving him ever closer to mainstream. Jonathan is still at about 25%. They both did great this year and I am very proud of all that they have done.

As for Luke, he finished preschool this year and will be moving to pre-k. I don't really see much difference in the two other than the name. I do think they work a little bit more with letters and such but he already knows these things. To me, Luke is in school simply to be around kids who do not have Autism and to give me a little break. I don't think he learned anything last year that he didn't already know except for a few Bible stories which is always good. Sometimes he is too smart for his own good.

I am 2 weeks and 2 days away from my ultrasound and am getting a little anxious to see this little one again. I am beginning to feel a little movement going on in there and that is just another reminder of how real this is. I recently read a blog of one of my friend's sister. She is due about 4 weeks before me with her first child. Her posts are so beautiful and such a reminder to me that I really need to enjoy these next few months and try to remember everything. It was also a good reminder of the wonderful things to come with a new baby. I had been tending to think of all the bad things like sleepless nights, all the crying, etc. Her blog has been such a blessing to me and a wonderful reminder of what it was like that first time around.

Last but not least, even though we don't know what we are having yet, I think we may actually have both names picked out. Which means no fighting and stressing over what to name a fourth boy. Some of you may know the girls name already but I will wait to share names when we find out. Just to give some of you a hint ( a very select few). I am hoping that if it is a boy I will have Heidi Jo's blessing to name my son what Eric and I have agreed on. Sorry for those of you who don't know Heidi Jo. You will just have to wait 2 weeks.

Here I am at 15+ weeks. This was taken on Mother's Day. Believe me that tummy is bigger than it appears in this picture. I think the white wall camouflages the tummy a bit. Some of you may have seen this already on Facebook.

Eric and I enjoying breakfast at the Red Setter Inn in Greer, AZ. We went away for 4 days last week and stayed in a little secluded cottage that was part of this wonderful B&B. It was a little getaway for our 10th anniversary, which was in January this year.

Last but not least. A picture of our newest addition. This was taken at our 12 week ultrasound a few weeks ago. Our next ultrasound is June 5th. In less than a month we will know if there will be a new little brother or sister joining our family.

Baby R. Update

As promised, here is my post for this week.

I had a doctors appointment today and got to hear the baby's heartbeat again. It is still beating steady at 150, it had been around 170 the last two times. I also got my go ahead to schedule my next ultrasound. It needs to be done in 4-5 weeks. So by the beginning of June I should know what I am having. This is the first time we are wanting to find out and it is driving me crazy not knowing. I honestly don't know how I survived not knowing that the twins were boys. Although, I was pretty sure they were boys from the beginning.

For those of you wondering... I really would love to have a 4th boy, but of course, Eric really wants his little girl. The only problem about having a fourth boy is the fact that it took us 9 months to agree on a name for Luke and even then I pretty much just gave up and let Eric name him. A few of you were not surprised to find out we named him Luke and after 4 years the name has really grown on me. One thing for certain, if it is another boy his name will not be MARK. I am tired of hearing that one especially since Jonathan's name is not John. They are two different names.

Okay, enough about that. I refuse to worry about a boys name until we know we are having a boy. The nice thing about having a girl would be the fact that we have had a girls name for 8 years.

So there is my post for this week. Stay tuned for some pictures on my next post. Maybe even some tummy pictures, fully covered by clothes of course, no one wants to see my war wounds from the twins. Maybe I will be bold and have bare tummy pics later but my friends Doni or Sarah G. will have to take them and really do some work in Photo Shop.

I'm Back.

Okay, so some of you were wanting me to come back to blogging and I think I might give it another try. As most of you know we are expecting #4 this October. I am now about 14 weeks along and think things are going well. The boys are growing and learning things everyday it seems. School is almost over and the long, hot summer just around the corner. I don't know what I will have to share but I will try and get back on here at least once a week and share some things. Look for more interesting posts soon.
